Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" the American as the pair confronted each other to promote the upcoming bout.
Ex two time unified boxing king Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I'm going to damage his features and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of these statements, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically recognized for his theatrics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather targeted former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK rival Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.
Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily fought MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's largest money-making draws, frequently receiving substantial paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old anticipated a stoppage in round four or five and claimed he would stop the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Size Disparity
As both boxers engaged in the traditional confrontation, with their physical disparity on show, it drove home just how unlikely this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is really happening.
